Spiritual Adviser, Ojibwe Artist, First Nation
Ernie Dunn is a kaumātua (respected elder), culture bearer and enrolled iwi citizen of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and serves as the Turtle Island Cultural Mātanga (Expert) and Iwi Liaison for our organization in North America. Grounded in his Ojibwe heritage, Ernie provides vital cultural guidance, strategic expertise, and tribal liaison support. He bridges the gap between modern organizational goals and traditional indigenous wisdom, helping to cultivate respectful partnership with North American indigenous nations and sustainable practices across Turtle Island.
